A Divine Vision
Mohanji as Jagannatha Swaroopa, the Lord of the Universe, Para Brahma, Purushottama.
This is a truth that my heart recognised 11 years ago on the auspicious day of Ratha Yatra. Today (25th July), on the sacred day of Bahuda Ekadashi, this oneness was revealed once again. And not just to me, but to the 81 participants who joined me in the powerful Group Mai-Tri session on 25th July. This is the fifth year that Mohanji Bharat and the Ammucare team have been serving Maha Prasad to thousands of devotees during the auspicious Ratha Yatra festival in Puri, Odisha.
Maha Prabhu Jagannatha, along with His brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra, comes out of His temple, Shree Mandira, and travels to His aunt Gundicha’s Temple, seated on the majestic Rathas (chariots), pulled by hundreds of thousands of devotees. The Grand Road of Puri becomes filled with devotees eager to catch a glimpse of their Aaradhya (Beloved), to touch the sacred ropes of the chariots, or simply to be in His presence.
This is a moment beyond caste, colour and creed. Those who cannot even enter the temple are blessed with His darshan. Every barrier disappears. Everyone can see Jagannatha. It is not just for a few moments or a single day. The festival continues for ten days and, by the time Jagannatha returns to His temple, nearly 12 to 13 days have passed. Throughout this period, even receiving a single Tulasi leaf or a portion of Maha Prasad offered to Him is considered an extraordinary blessing for devotees who have travelled from far away.
Mohanji visited Puri for the first time in January 2022 following an invitation from the head of all the temple sevaks, the “Chhatis Nijog”, Pattajoshi Shri Janardana Mahapatra. The connection and love between Mohanji and Pattajoshi ji was deep and immediate, even though they were meeting physically for the first time and despite the language barrier.

I have written in detail about Mohanji’s connection with Shree Jagannatha and His first visit to Puri in my book Jaga Mohana.

Many seva initiatives began from that first visit. One of the most significant was that Pattajoshi ji offered us a prime space to distribute Maha Prasad freely during the Ratha Yatra period.
Since that very year, this beautiful tradition has continued.
Pattajoshi ji arranged a stall directly in front of Gundicha Temple, within easy reach of where the Rathas remain parked. During this sacred period, Maha Prasad is generally not easily available to the public. Receiving it at such an auspicious time is truly an extraordinary blessing.

The Mohanji Bharat and Ammucare volunteers manage the entire seva. They distribute Maha Prasad, water, basic medicines and even offer healing wherever needed. It is a continuous 14 to 16 hours of seva every day for almost two weeks. This beautiful tradition continues even this year, now in its fifth year. The seva began on 16th July and is nearing its completion.
Ever since this Maha Prasad Seva started, I have never been able to attend it in Puri personally. Living in London, I try to offer my seva through the grace of Guru Mohanji. Every year I conduct special Mai-Tri sessions or Group Mai-Tri sessions, where the participants’ contributions are offered towards this auspicious seva. In this way, I feel I receive the opportunity to serve, however small my contribution may be.

This year too, I planned a special Group Mai-Tri session. Originally, it was scheduled for Friday, 24th July. Later I realised I already had another important event that day, so I rescheduled it to Saturday, 25th July, and the announcement went out. More than 90 people expressed interest in attending. Little did I know the significance of the day to which it had been moved.
The 25th of July was Bahuda Ekadashi, one of the most auspicious days before the culmination of the Ratha Yatra festival. By then, the deities had returned from Gundicha Temple, and the chariots had reached Shree Mandira. However, the deities still remained on the Rathas. On this Ekadashi day, they are adorned completely in gold ornaments, including golden hands and feet. This magnificent adornment is known as the Raja Rajeshwara Besha.

It is said that merely having darshan of Jagannatha on the Rathas in this Raja Rajeshwara Besha grants one the blessing of attaining Vaikuntha, the abode of Mahavishnu, after this lifetime. When I realised the significance of the day on which this Group Mai-Tri session was to take place, my heart overflowed with gratitude to Mohanji for making it possible.
The Group Mai-Tri session started on Zoom. Eighty-one participants joined. I introduced the session, explained its purpose, the significance of supporting the Maha Prasad Seva, and shared the spiritual importance of the day. From the very beginning, it was evident that this session was different.
Even during the invocation, Mohanji’s presence was felt in an indescribably powerful way. It was as though He appeared with the brilliance of millions of suns, with thousands of eyes and thousands of limbs. As I continued guiding the meditation, something very unusual happened. Words were flowing through my mouth, yet I was no longer hearing my own voice. I was hearing Mohanji.
I could see Mohanji holding the hands of the participants and lovingly guiding them throughout their inner journey. Since it was a special Ratha Yatra session, I had included mantras and devotional music dedicated to Shree Jagannatha, some of which also contained Mohanji’s voice. As these sacred sounds filled the space, I no longer saw Mohanji and Jagannatha as separate. They merged into One.
As I chanted the special Mohanji Gayatri where we invoke to see his form as Shree Jagannatha, he truly appeared as that:
“Om Parabrahmane Vidmahe,
Shree Jagannathaya Dhimahi,
Tanno Mohana Prachodayat”
The culmination came when everyone reached the deepest level of the process, arrived at their root level – the basement. There appeared Mohanji in a magnificent cosmic form. As I narrated the meditation, I suddenly realised I was not creating the words. I was describing exactly what I was seeing before me.
Mohanji in the Vishwaroopa.
Mohanji as Jagannatha.
The Lord of the Universe.
Adorned with every divine ornament.
Radiating with the brilliance of millions of suns.
Standing in the majestic Raja Rajeshwara form.
At that moment, Mohanji became the very source of limitless abundance.
Every limitation dissolved.
Every limiting belief disappeared.
Every feeling of lack vanished.
In its place arose only abundance.
Infinite abundance.
For several minutes, as we chanted and listened to “Jagannatha Swami Nayana Patha Gami Bhavatu Me,” the image of Mohanji in His cosmic Vishwaroopa, the Raja Rajeshwara form of Shree Jagannatha, became imprinted into every cell of my being.
I may have been guiding the session, but in truth I was only the narrator. Just as Sanjaya narrated what he witnessed in the Mahabharata, I too was describing what I was seeing, feeling and experiencing myself. Nothing more. When the session concluded, everyone remained silent for a while.
Many participants shared that although they had attended Group Mai-Tri sessions before, this one was unlike anything they had experienced. Some still had tears in their eyes. Yet alongside those tears was an unmistakable lightness, a radiance and a quiet joy. After the session, Martin, one of the participants, shared a digital artwork of what he had experienced during the meditation.
I was deeply moved. What I had been verbally describing from my vision, he had expressed through his artwork almost exactly. With his permission, I am sharing his beautiful creation below.

What touched me deeply was that this session was not attended only by Indian participants or by people familiar with Jagannatha or these sacred forms. In fact, many participants came from different countries, cultures and spiritual backgrounds. Most knew very little about Jagannatha. Yet every one of them experienced the divine presence of Mohanji, His radiance, His power and His immense magnificence.
As much as the participants felt released, uplifted, filled with abundance, joy and simply “feeling great”, I felt completely overwhelmed witnessing this divine vision once again. It was yet another reminder of the oneness of Jagannatha and Mohanji.
A reminder.
A reassurance.
A glimpse of Mohanji’s divine power and who He truly is.
This is simply my heart speaking.
My sincere expression.
Koti Pranams and my deepest gratitude to Mohanji for this reminder, this reassurance and this divine opportunity once again. I bow down at the lotus feet of my Guru.
Before I conclude, with the participants’ permission, I share below a few of their experiences.

Before the Group Mai-Tri session, I was feeling very emotional and despondent after a week of really challenging circumstances in different areas of life that felt testing to the core. Even a really positive outcome at one point left me in uncontrollable tears of relief, as the situation had weighed so heavily on me.
The Group Mai-Tri session was extraordinary. I felt like there was nowhere else to go but to be vulnerable and genuinely ask for help as I faced the blockages within me. Knowing Mohanji walks with us as we carry out Mai-Tri is genuinely humbling.
From feeling overwhelmed, I experienced Mohanji cleansing my system at a level I had never experienced before in Mai-Tri. It was a lesson for me to ask for help and to allow myself to be vulnerable. Thank you.

Thank you, Subhasree, for this wonderful session. You took us inside the temple of Jagannatha with Mohanji sitting beside me in a levitating state. I had darshan of Narayana and Mohanji within my heart chakra while simultaneously experiencing vibrations in my heart, crown and third eye. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Thank you for playing the healing songs for us. Love you.

Thank you, Subhasree. It was my first session with you, and it was both beautiful and incredibly powerful.

Mai-Tri is a significant transformative process gifted by MohanjI; the effects both individually and in a group setting are cumulative and always aligned with the needs of the moment. Mohanji is currently focusing on abundance in all its forms, and the Abundance Mai-Tri is an expression of that. The process brings with it alignment and transformation of that which no longer serves us. I clearly saw in the process with Subhasree that there was an energetic shift relating to both of my grandmothers and the lineage they represent. This is always undertaken with gratitude for the journey that our ancestors have made, which has brought us to the point when transformation is possible. After the process, a feeling of expansion and lightness is evident; a heaviness you never realised was there becomes apparent in its absence, and a release is achieved for all. Thank you

The session was Mohanji himself! He was literally with us throughout the whole process, from the moment I joined the meeting until the host ended it. I would describe the energy as strong as lightning and pure. After I joined, I don’t remember much from the session because I was in a very deep meditation, except during Subhasree’s guidance for chanting and the visualisation of Mohanji in Jagannath form. Later, inspiration came to me to create the same form in a picture. Subhasree loved it because she had visualised it the same way. Mohanji loved it too. After that, in my 11‑hour dream marathon, I dreamed of the basement of one of my relatives — it was so vivid and intense that it could inspire many film directors across different genres. As for the content, I won’t discuss it further. I woke up lighter and energised, still processing the material from this divine session. Thank you, Mohanji, for these priceless divine blessings.

Everything that the facilitator, Subhasree said would happen- what we might feel at different times throughout the session- I actually felt. It was extremely powerful all the way through. I felt changed afterwards, that I had stepped into the better or best version of myself.

This was my first session with Subhasree, and I’m deeply impressed. It was such a wonderful and powerful experience.

It was beautiful. I could feel vibrations in all my chakras as if Father is removing all kinds of lack and filling me with abundance. Some of my emotions came up in the form of tears, and I felt deep gratitude during the process towards Mohanji for his unconditional love and grace.

After the session, I felt that abundance was easily coming my way—a stark contrast to how I had previously been upset that nothing was happening in my life. I felt incredibly hopeful and positive about everything, whether regarding finances, relationships, or other areas; I even found myself laughing wholeheartedly for the first time in a long while.
